The Feast Day

Saint Patrick’s Day.

Every year we celebrate the feast day of st Patrick.

On Monday 17  I woke up happy  because today was SAINT PATRICK’S DAY!

I rushed all my chores and rushed in the car knowing I was going to get in trouble because I forgot to clean my room. But that didn't worry me the only thing that worried me was coming late and missing out in most of the fun. when I got to school I ran to my class and they were just about to go to church.

The mass was really good. After mass we had morning went to room 4 and 5. Their our principal called out the group which are donegals, leprechauns,emeralds and limericks.

I was in Donegals. We had to go to each class and do their activities and get points from the teachers.  The first class we went to was room 1. We did bowling. It was game played by boys and girls. I thought we were gonna win NICK-MINUTE... 5 to 36. We lost to the girls. I was shocked but Isaac was just saying he was saying he was going easy.  

After room 1 we went to room 4 to play a game of fishing. We had to pick an Irish word and fish for the letters. It was a boys vs girls match. We lost AGAIN. Next we went to room 2 then room 5 and our last class was room 6. After all the activities we went in front of rooms 4 and 5 and there we were given ice blocks. When we finished eating our ice blocks Mrs Bullot called out the winner which was our group. What I liked about today was Mrs Twomey’s activity. My dislikes of the day was that we kept losing. It was an awesome day. The winning didn't matter only that we all had a great time on Saint Patrick’s day.
