Room 5 have been learning about how to make a device that will save water in Africa. Some of the room 5 students found a device. It's called a tippy tap. This is how to use the tap. First you rub soap all over your hands. Then you step on the stick to turn the bottle so the water could come out. The tippy tap is a good device that will
help people in Africa to stop spending their whole day getting water.

The Water Cycle
In Room 5 We have been learning about The water Cycle. The Water Cycle is how the water that comes from clouds rains in earth than it all starts again.
When the sun is out it heats up the water. When it heats it transforms into steam or vapor. It then goes in the clouds. Plants and trees helps the vapor. the water in the plant heats and turns into vapor. This is called transpiration.
When the vapor in the air gets cold. It changes into liquid and forms into clouds. This is called condensation.
Precipitation is When the clouds get full and it can't hold anymore water. Once it can’t hold anymore it rains. Sometimes when it gets cold it could hail, sleet or snow. Then the rain lands down on earth. It goes in lakes, streams and rivers. Rain fills the surface of the earth. This is the first part of the water Cycle.
The water soaks underground. It goes into an aquifer. The aquifer stores the water until it is needed. The people use that water . They pump from the underground aquifer and use it for drinking water. This is called water storage.

Peter the Diciple
In Room 5 we are learning to see why Peter needed healing and how Jesus did this.
We were watching a video about penance then we were reading stories from the bible that was about Peter.
In one of the stories Peter denied Jesus three times. In the other story Jesus asked Peter if He Loved him. Peter said yes.

My Prayer of Healing
prayer for people who are sick |
Special graces.
WALT identify how the sacrament of the sick prepares people for death. We learned how the sacrament anointing of the sick helps the sick and old people. I know I have learned this because love, courage, strength, hope and faith help the person get prepared for when they die.
